Alleged Cape Town gang kingpin’s case postponed to Monday

Alleged underworld boss Nafiz Modack and police officer Ashley Tabisher appeared in the Bishop Lavis Magistrates court in Cape Town on Tuesday.

Tabisher is being charged with corruption. He allegedly passed on crucial police information to Modack through a middle person.

In a separate case Modack stood in the dock alone.

He was charged with five counts of conspiracy to commit murder, attempted murder, and sourcing an explosive.

Both cases have been postponed to Monday.
