South Africa has recorded 2,792 new COVID-19 infections in the last 24 hours.
The health department said 67 people have died due to the virus, bringing the cumulative death toll to 56,506.
The country currently has a 93.6 percent recovery rate.
More than 24,000 tests were conducted since the last report.
