Former President Jacob Zuma is back at the Constitutional Court to appeal an estimated R10-million costs order against him.
The order was issued after his failed attempt to interdict the release of then Public Protector Thuli Madonsela’s State of Capture report.
She had investigated allegations the Gupta family benefited illegally from the state resources. The High Court granted the order in 2017.
Zuma argues the costs order against him was incorrect given that at the time he was acting in his capacity as the president.
