Six men are facing charges of murder, attempted murder, and kidnapping for the Zandspruit kidnapping incident.
Last week, an angry mob took a group of men accused of terrorizing the community to a local sports ground and beat them up.
They were doused with petrol and set alight.
Four died on the scene, and four died later in hospital.
Police Minister Bheki Cele and Gauteng Community Safety MEC, Faith Mazibuko, visited the area at the weekend.
