After the rebooting of the soapie from Generations to Generations-The Legacy, several new faces were introduced. One of them was Lebohang Mthunzi, who played Angela Mogale. She was the daughter of Tau Mogale, played by Rapulana Seiphemo. Angela was a daughter trying to win her father’s love and was very desperate for his attention. She was also very career-driven and wanted to make a name for herself in the advertising business. JT Medupe also replaced Wright Ngubeni as Jonathan Motene on Generations. Jonathan Motene was also Tau Mogale’s son and a brother to Angela.
After they started working together, these two became inseparable. The pair served some serious best friends goals, and fans loved their relationship. They would post a lot of pictures on Instagram together of them hanging out off-screen. Fans started wishing that the two would date because they looked good together. JT Medupe then started posting pictures of them together, calling Lebohang his wife. Currently, they are married and have a child together.
Lebohang was cast in several movies, including Christmas, The Betrayal and Emotions, in which she starred as Bohlale, Sharon and Julie, respectively. She has landed leading roles in The mud and The truth beyond his naked eye. She was then cast into Generations from 2014 to 2016 as Tau Mogale’s daughter Angela.
The actor has been featured in several TV drama series, including Sokhulu and Partners, Rockville, Generations and Isindingo. JT was cast in films like Phindile’s heart and The long Journey home. The actor is also into theatre as he has been in plays. He played the role of Jacob Zuma in an adaptation of the book Kwezi. He has also featured in theatre productions of Peter pan, Peter Rabbit, The maker of dreams and Big love.
