Local govt elections: Police deployed in hotspot areas

Police Minister Bheki Cele says police are ready to deal with any potential disruptions during the local government elections.

The officers have been deployed around the country, with a focus on known and hotspot areas.

On Saturday, he visited Pienaar in Mpumalanga to monitor the first day of voting.
