Former President Jacob Zuma’s supporters have marched to the ANC’s KwaZulu-Natal headquarters.
They want the party to somehow intervene in the former president’s contempt of court matter.
Earlier this week, the Constitutional Court found Zuma in contempt of court and was sentenced to 15-months behind bars.
A special Provincial Executive Committee meeting has been scheduled, in part to deal with current tensions.
ANC National Executive Committee members have also been deployed to KwaZulu-Natal.
More supporters from branches across the province are expected to travel to Nkandla this weekend.
