The Department of Correctional Services has confirmed that former president Jacob Zuma will attend the funeral of his brother Michael Zuma.

Former president Jacob Zuma has been granted compassionate leave.

As the Zuma family was still digesting the news of Zuma’s arrest, his brother tragically died after a long illness.

Michael Zuma was a senior member of the Zuma family in Nkandla and had not been well for many years.
