Jub Jub is a South African hip hop musician who rose up the ranks before having his career cut short due to a drag race accident that claimed the lives of four children. He completed his sentence and returned to society a changed man with the goal of expanding his brand.

Jub Jub secured a role as the host of one of Moja Love’s shows, Uyajola 9/9, and he won over many hearts. Because of his hosting abilities, he has the streets nearly every week.

Jub Jub Age And Early Life

Jub Jub was born in the year 1980 on June 29th. He was born and raised in Soweto, Orlando East, and is 41 years old.

Molemo Maarohanye was his given name, and he was raised in a household of five by both of his parents.

Jub Jub was lucky enough to receive a scholarship to La Guardia High School for Performing Arts in Manhattan, New York.

He was in a relationship with Kelly Khumalo in 2010 before his incarceration.
Christian, the couple’s son, was born to them.

Kelly Khumalo and Jub Jub had a tumultuous relationship that ended when Kelly Khumalo claimed that Jub Jub had been physically and emotionally abusing her.

Kelly made headlines when she said on an episode of Behind The Story that she doesn’t need Jub Jub’s help raising their son and that she doesn’t want anything to do with him.

He stated that he is married in an interview with News24, however he did not reveal the identity of his wife. When questioned, he stated that he had been married for a long time and that his wife had stood by him during his most trying years in prison.
Jub Jub has worked with award-winning performers like as Thembisile Ntaka, RJ Benjamin, Lungelo, BonezittoAmu, Zwai Bala, and Guffy Pilane during his musical career.

Following his release from prison, Jub Jub got the opportunity to release his first song, Ke Kopa Tshwarelo (Please forgive me), in 2017. In 2020, he released the video for the song.

Jub Jub even claimed during an interview that he had transformed and was ready to do great things for the country.

He released the single Rapela, which translates to ‘Pray’ in English, in 2019 with former idols participant Mthokozisi Ndaba. The song had a similar tone and message as ‘Ndikhokhele.
