The National Institute of Communicable Diseases (NICD) has reported 1,306 new COVID-19 numbers.
They have also reported 48 more deaths. The Western Cape makes up most of the new infections with 285 new cases.
It is followed by KwaZulu-Natal, then Gauteng with 183 cases The North West recorded the lowest number of infections with 57 new cases.
