South African corporate heavyweight Brian Joffe is to step down as Long4Life CEO in February. Joffe grew Bidvest from a bakery into an industrial conglomerate. His second investment holding company Long4Life owns brands such as Sportsmans Warehouse, Outdoor Warehouse and the Sorbet franchise.
Joffe will not be lost to the company as he will take on the chairman’s role from Graham Dempster.
The news of Joffe’s departure though he would effectively still be involved with the group, sent its share price surging around more 16-percent.
