The EFF wants Parliament moved from Cape Town. The party argues the city isn’t accessible because it is in the furthest part of South Africa.
The EFF raised this matter during the Sona debate. EFF MP Floyd Shivambu said, “we are here in Cape Town because of a colonial pact.
“It doesn’t make sense for it to be at the furthest corner of South Africa. Shivambu asked why the National Assembly could not be relocated to Gauteng to give people the opportunity to make submissions every day.
