Toll tariffs to increase from March

Toll tariffs on national roads are going up from Sunday including an increase in fees for the controversial e-tolls in Gauteng.

Wayne Duvenage, CEO of the Organisation Undoing Tax Abuse (OUTA) said the increase of tolls is nothing new and South Africans should not read too much into it.

Duvenage said the e-toll scheme has collapsed through non-compliance from users and a lack of enforcement from Sanral.
