Description: We are seeking an experienced and skilled applicant for our Pipe Fitter vacancy. The successful applicant will also be tasked with mentoring the apprentices in the trade.

Requirements: Education & Experience

A Red Seal certificate. Must have at least, 3 years work experience after, getting the red seal certificate, Extensive experience in shipbuilding is essential, Extensive knowledge
of standard methods, materials, tools & equipment of the related trade. Extensive knowledge of the occupational hazards & safety precautions applicable to the work.

Ability to understand and execute oral and written instructions and to read and interpret drawings and specifications

Behavioural Competencies: Ability to operate within a team environment Action-oriented and innovative. Able to anticipate, solve problems and take advantage of opportunities, is a self-starter and team player. Be able to cope under pressure and must be prepared to work extended hours at times.
