SA records more than 5,000 new COVID-19 cases

South Africa has recorded more than 5,000 new cases in the last 24 hours. That total is now over 866,000.

Covid-19 cases

One-hundred and seventy-five people have died in the past 24-hours. Cumulative deaths are at more than 23,000.

Recoveries total around 760,000. Nearly 6-million tests have been conducted.
