Drama as s.e.x starved man rapes 75-year-old grandfather

Police have launched a manhunt for a suspect who allegedly raped a 75-year-old mental health patient.

The incident happened at Merry Pebble Stream Village outside Thulamahashe, near Bushbuckridge in Mpumalanga, in the early of Monday, 28 December.

According to Colonel Donald Mdhluli, the madala reportedly woke up in the early hours of the morning and went to a neighbour’s house to help clean a graveside.

Mdhluli said the madala heard a voice calling him from an old unused building and, on arrival, an unknown man allegedly raped him and fled.

“The police were notified and a rape case was opened. A manhunt has been launched and police have urged the public to help with information that may lead to the arrest of the suspect.

“As police, we strongly condemn such crimes where people take advantage of vulnerable people.

“We want to appeal to residents to work with police in making sure cruel suspects are arrested.
