Lesotho to prioritise passports for urgent travellers

Lesotho says it will prioritise those who apply for passports to come to South Africa for medical attention, work, and school.

The country is experiencing a high number of applications at this time of the year and due to the fact, the country has only one printing facility

Lesotho Home Affairs Minister Motlanlentoa Letosa says others can wait until these applicants have been cleared.

“Those not travelling urgently can wait. You can’t wait when you have to get medical attention in South Africa but if you going on holiday or shopping or something like that then you can wait,” he said.
