A 39-year old man arrested in connection with the murder of Lieutenant Colonel Charl Kinnear is appearing in the Bishop Lavis Magistrate Court today.
The anti-gang unit investigator was gunned down outside his home a week ago.
The suspect, who is a former rugby player, was arrested in Gauteng on Wednesday.
Investigations continue, and more arrests are expected.
Meanwhile, Kinnear’s family, friends, and colleagues paid tribute to the slain officer at a memorial service.
