The Democratic Alliance (DA) in the Eastern Cape made history on Saturday by successfully concluding South Africa’s first-ever virtual political congress.
Nqaba Bhanga and Andrew Whitfield have both been elected unopposed for additional three-year terms as provincial leaders and provincial chairperson respectively.
Delegates have also voted to elect two Deputy Provincial Leaders and three Deputy Provincial Chairpersons.

Provincial Chairperson: Andrew Whitfield
