The Health Department has reported 2,585 new COVID-19 cases in South Africa.
The department also reported 126 more COVID-19 related deaths, taking the death toll to 13,628.
Forty-eight patients died from KwaZulu-Natal, 33 from Gauteng, 25 from Eastern Cape and 20 from Western Cape.
Recoveries in South Africa are now at 531,338, which translates to a recovery rate of 86%.
