It’s no secret that Julius Malema is a fan of DJ Shimza and he isn’t one to hide his admiration for the popular DJ. The Economic Freedom Fighters leader defended Shimza when most on social media had accused him of being arrogant.
During Easter Weekend, Shimza received a fair share amount of Black Twitter’s insults after he snubbed DJ Ceega Wa Meropa, who wanted to be featured, on one of his lock-down shows. Shimza responded to the DJ and said, he needs to stop harassing him and it is annoying. Twitter slammed him for being rude and the #ShimzaMustFall movement gained momentum.
Juju, weighed on the matter and decided to accept Shimza’s apology and instead encouraged him to continue playing good music. A few weeks later Shimza has not been cancelled despite the calls for him to fall and each weekend viewers keep on tuning in to the lockdown house party on Channel O.
Julius decided to remind tweeps about the #ShimzaMustFall movement that trended just the other day and shared a snap of himself doing his best dance moves.
Never be shaken by rubbish young man @Shimza01. You worked very hard to be where you are and can’t be destroyed by those who suffer from self-hate. Apology accepted, now continue playing good music.
