Tebatso Ntshane was part of the brave SAA cabin crew that went to evacuate South Africans in Wuhan, China following the outbreak of the coronavirus.
Ntshane passed away at 39 due to cancer-related complications. Malicious rumours that Ntshane died of COVID-19 have been dispelled.
Her mother Manyekge Ntshane asked for privacy, saying, “I want to say to social media people please leave my daughter alone.
Ntshane’s colleagues have paid homage to the flight attendant who had just obtained her pilot’s license. She will be laid to rest on Thursday. Her family said their wish is for her to be remembered as an inspiration.
