COVID-19 death toll rise to 552

The Health Department has reported 28 new COVID-19 deaths. This takes the death toll to 552. The department’s latest report shows that 1,673 new infections have been confirmed, taking the cumulative number of confirmed cases to 25,937.

A total of 634,996 tests have been conducted to date with 29,005 tests recorded since the last report. The recoveries to date are 13,451 which the department said translates to a recovery rate of 52 percent.  Coronavirus Hotline Number: 0800 029 999 from 8 am to 4 pm, Monday to Friday.
