The country has recorded over 11,125 new COVID-19 cases in 24 hours.
The NICD said a single COVID-19-related death has been recorded, taking the death toll to 89,966.
Gauteng recorded 7,929 cases followed by the Western Cape with 807.
The positivity rate stands at 23.8 percent and 47,708 tests were conducted in the last 24 hours.
