Early COVID-19 signs suggest 4th wave less severe – expert

Infectious disease specialist at Wits University, Jeremy Nel, says despite the spike in numbers, the fourth wave is different from the previous three.

The National Institute for Communicable Diseases (NICD) reported 22,391 new COVID-19 cases on Thursday.
