The animal cruelty case involving National Assembly Speaker, Thandi Modise, is expected to continue on Wednesday. Modise will be appearing at the Potchefstroom Magistrate’s Court.
Afriforum is pursuing a private prosecution after it was approached by the SPCA.
It found over 50 animals dead on her North West farm. The animals were dehydrated and had not been fed. Modise denies any wrongdoing.
