Police condemn violent Senekal protests

The Police Ministry said it’s disgusted by the violence of protesting farmers.

Free State Police are investigating a case of damage to property and public violence after clashes erupted outside a Senekal court.

Farmers demanded that two suspects in the murder of farm manager Brendin Horner be released to them.

Agriculture, Land Reform, and Rural Development Minister Thoko Didiza has also condemned the violence by protesting farmers outside the court.
