EFF (Economic Freedom Fighters) leader Julius Malema and party MP Mbuyiseni Ndlozi, will return to the Randburg Magistrate’s Court on Wednesday.
The pair are charged with the alleged assaulting of a police officer at the funeral of Winnie Madikizela-Mandela in 2018.
The incident was caught on CCTV and released by AfriForum last year.
During their last court appearance, Malema told journalists the charges are a waste of time and should be scrapped.
