Boitumelo Rametsi becomes an ambassador for Rihanna’s Savage X Fenty

Boitumelo Rametsi might not be an A-lister, but the body positivity ambassador and the multi-talented star is slowly making a name for herself with the big moves she
has made recently.

This past weekend, Rihanna previewed the “Savage X Fenty, Vol. 2” fashion show which premiered on Amazon. The fashion show has been hailed as a response to what the “Victoria’s Secret” fashion was supposed to be if it had adapted to the times and become more inclusive. This suggestion is further intensified by the fact the Victoria’s Secret has discontinued their own annual fashion show, therefore Rihanna’s Fenty Savage show came at just the right time.

The show packed a lot of international star power as you would expect from now business mogul, Rihanna. During the show, which is now available for streaming on Amazon Video, names such as Bella Hadid, Willow Smith, Lizzo, Normani and RuPaul Drag Race’s Gigi Goode, Jada Essence Hall and Shea Coulee, all made an appearance.

And while this means a lot for the American population, South Africa has its own reasons to endorse the show. Our very own, Boitumelo Rametsi is one of the official global ambassadors for Savage X Fenty.

The model that has always campaigned for body positivity and inclusivity in the beauty, fashion and modelling industries has been given a bigger platform to realise these aspirations.

Her post on having achieved such a milestone has the star merely mentioning that she “did some work” with Rihanna for “Savage Fenty.” The beauty did not share a sentimental post on the achievement and what it means to have been enlisted by Rihanna to be part of the brand. It might be humility or merely the fact the baby girl is focussed on making these bags for her and her son. But this achievement has made it clear that Boitumelo is one to look out for in the future.
