The local entertainment industry is reeling in shock following the death of multi-talented actor Jovan Muthray. The actor who portrayed the character of Nilesh on eTV soapie Imbewu, apparently died on Sunday.
Circumstances surrounding his cause of death have been very sketchy, but according to IOL the actor died in Pretoria. Jovan had a booming career in the television industry, having starred on numerous TV shows such as Ayeye, and Ring of Lies.
Speaking to IOL actor Koobeshen Naidoo, paid tribute to him and expressed how shocking it is to learn of his death
“To have lost such a talented actor at such a young age is really tragic. Hey Jovan, I’ll always remember our time on set as well as the talks in the dressing room. You had this energy and vibrancy that set a room alight. Hamba kahle laaitie. I’ll miss you,” he said.
Condolences have been pouring in following his passing.
