In this role you will work within the Engagement Team ensuring that the operation runs as smoothly as a duck on water. You’ll build, nurture and maintain key relationships with peers, Line Managers, Senior Leaders, and individuals from various departments so being a team player is a crucial characteristic that we’re looking for.
We need someone who not only has their ducks in a row but can assist with getting the team’s ducks all lined up too! In doing this, you will need to assist with day-to-day tasks such as administrative and event co-ordination activities to help create and engaging environment and culture that inspire our people within the operation. Ultimately contributing to driving company values through positive cultural change and employee engagement.
Responsibilities:
Personally assisting the engagement team and operations with people engagement related initiatives
Managing and executing the entire lifecycle of engagement activities/events (planning, coordinating, sourcing, purchasing, collecting, delivering and execution)
Handling the administration of meetings (booking meeting rooms, purchasing items for meetings, setting up meeting rooms for meetings/events, attending meetings, recording minutes of meetings & distributing minutes among attendees)
Living the values of the engagement team and be an active ambassador of the engagement team by actively partaking in engagement activities and initiatives
Engaging with staff
Identifying and reporting on processes and matters that detract from staff engagement and propose effective solutions and record and feedback findings when required that support and improve staff satisfaction
Prioritizing time and tasks effectively while adapting to changing business needs
Monitoring and maintaining specific administrative tasks and balance this with ad hoc requests
Exchanging, sharing and implementing best practices on-site and across other Webhelp sites
Conducting general admin type tasks such as maintaining the engagement action log, inventory logs, etc.
Arranging and raising purchase orders for travel
Managing business card reconciliations
Requirements:
Matric
Strong Microsoft Office skills
Customer service industry experience
Excellent communication skills (Essential)
Problem-solving skills and ability to use own initiative
Demonstrable ability to handle confidential, sensitive and private information in accordance with related policies and procedures
Able to work as part of a virtual team, supporting and working collaboratively with others
Own transport
Employee Engagement experience (Advantageous)
A person who can organize their activities, prioritizing the day to meet the immediate and long term needs of the business, and as directed by their superiors.
Possessing a flexible attitude, with a positive outlook, and able to cope in a fast-moving and changing work environment.
A friendly, responsible, energetic, creative individual who enjoys not only planning but also executing activities
Good time management skills and the ability to meet deadlines
Be able to do work that requires manual dexterity
