The DA’s Federal Council chairperson posted a cartoon comparing historical land theft to r@pe. Her tweet was trending throughout Monday. Many responders found her post offensive, with some saying her views indicated the DA’s direction going into the New Year.
Zille defended her use of the cartoon, saying it was a perfect example of race generalisations. The cartoon’s creator Jeremy Nell stated the cartoon is ridiculing collectivist groupthink and promoting individualism.
