Photos: SA celebrities look stunning at the SAMAs red carpet

The 27th installment of the SA Music Awards got off to a glittering and glamourous fashionable start on SABC1 yesterday.

The red carpet was broadcasted live on SABC 1’s gossip show The Real Goboza at 6pm.

Staged as a one-night virtual extravaganza, the red carpet which attracted a bevy of celebrities served as the perfect prelude to a proudly South African music celebration fit for local talent.

Spotted on the red carpet ahead of the main event was gospel singer Bucy Radebe, Thandi Ntuli, Juliet Hardin, Black Motion’s Bongani Mahosana aka DJ Murdah and his bandmate Thabo Mabogwane, gospel star Hle and Msaki who performed.

5 men have been found guilty for the murder of Rhythm City actor Dumisani Masilela.

The five Bongani John Masombuka, 34, of Tembisa, along with Sfundo Harrison Nkosi, 30, Khumbuzo Solomon Mukhuba, 27, Brian Makhubedu, 24, and Mashudu Malema, 31, all from Ivory Park, will appear for sentencing proceedings in the North Gauteng High Court on Monday, August 2, exactly five years to the day since the actor’s tragic shooting.
