The Hawks have pounced on yet another suspected instigator of last month’s unrest.
A 35-year-old suspect is set to appear in the Pietermaritzburg Magistrate’s Court on Monday, for incitement to commit public violence.
Authorities believe the suspect’s posts on social media, and other platforms led to attacks on the Brookside Mall in Pietermaritzburg.
It was broken into, goods stolen and stores set alight.
