Voices in his car told him to chop his 4-5 and he did it! A 39-year-old man from Cookeville reportedly cut off his 4-5 and tossed it out the car window while he was being chased by cops on Wednesday morning, 25 August.
According to WJLE, the man said he heard voices on his car radio telling him to chop his 4-5 in order to save the world.
Trooper Bobby Johnson, a traffic cop told WJLE he spotted the man’s car parked partially in the roadway on Highway 70 in Dowelltown.
“When I pulled up behind him and turned my lights on, he took off and refused to stop. He was all over the road the whole time. He turned off on Old Liberty Road and came to a stop. He opened his door. He was naked and covered in blood. He then shut his door and kept driving,” Trooper Johnson told the publication.
It is reported that the cops managed to box the man after driving through spiking traps which slowed down his car.
He was reportedly transported to Vanderbilt University Medical Center under police guard for his self-inflicted injury.
