The funeral of the late Minister in the Presidency, Jackson Mthembu is taking place in his hometown in Mpumalanga. President Cyril Ramaphosa has accorded Mthembu an Official Category One funeral.
The Minister died on Thursday from COVID-19 related complications aged 62.
Mthembu is remembered as selfless, dedicated and disciplined by the ANC, alliance partners and opposition parties.
