Aston Villa 1 – 2 Manchester City

Bernardo Silva scored one of the goals of the season to help Manchester City beat Aston Villa and inflict Steven Gerrard’s first Premier League defeat as a manager.

It was a fourth league win in a row for Pep Guardiola’s side, one that keeps them second in the table, one point behind leaders Chelsea.

Silva showed world-class technique to side-foot volley Gabriel Jesus’ dropping cross into the roof of the net from just inside the area, after City ripped their hosts open with a rapid break.

That sublime strike doubled the visitors’ advantage before half-time, with Ruben Dias the unlikely source of their opener when he curled into the bottom corner from the edge of the box.

Villa have renewed resolve since Gerrard’s arrival though, and Ollie Watkins replied immediately after the interval with a neat strike from a well-worked corner routine.

But the hosts were unable to find a leveller and Gerrard, having won his opening two games in charge, was handed his first loss in the Villa dugout.

Jack Grealish was brought on as a late substitute to make his first return to Villa Park since a £100m summer move, greeted by a mixture of boos and applause from the home crowd that once adored him.

Everton 1 – 4 Liverpool

Mohamed Salah scored twice as Liverpool brushed Everton aside to ensure Rafa Benitez’s first Merseyside derby as Toffees boss was a miserable one.

Jordan Henderson gave the Reds an early lead before Salah added a second from a tight angle soon after.

Demarai Gray pulled one back before the break, sparking an Everton revival.

But Salah pounced on a Seamus Coleman mistake to score Liverpool’s third and dash hopes of a Everton comeback before Diogo Jota completed the win.

Watford 1 – 2 Chelsea

Chelsea retained their place at the top of the Premier League with a hard-earned win over Watford in a game that was halted for 32 minutes because of a medical emergency in the crowd.

Both sets of players left the pitch early in the first half while the fan, who had suffered cardiac arrest, was stabilised.

When they returned, Mason Mount gave the Blues the lead with a first-time finish at the end of a lovely move involving Marcos Alonso and Kai Havertz.

Watford equalised when Ruben Loftus-Cheek lost possession and Moussa Sissoko set up Emmanuel Dennis, who scored with a shot that deflected off Antonio Rudiger.

But having scored his side’s first, Mount then set up the winner by providing the pass for substitute Hakim Ziyech to fire past Daniel Bachmann.

Leicester City 2 – 2 Southampton

Leicester City twice came from behind to earn a Premier League point against Southampton at St Mary’s.

The better side in the first half, Saints were rewarded for their positive start with a third-minute opener as defender Jan Bednarek reacted quickest when Mohammed Salisu’s shot was saved after a corner.

Centre-back Jonny Evans drew Leicester level when he followed up Wilfred Ndidi’s saved attempt, but Che Adams headed in Nathan Redmond’s cross to restore the hosts’ advantage before half-time.

Following a lengthy delay caused by a medical emergency in the stands, Leicester restored parity once more four minutes after the restart through James Maddison – the midfielder cutting back onto his right foot and finishing neatly into the bottom corner.

Alex McCarthy produced an excellent save to deny Harvey Barnes and Jamie Vardy fired over after pouncing on an error by Kyle Walker-Peters as the much-improved visitors pressed for a winner.

Although it did not arrive, the point was enough to move Leicester up to eighth in the table, while Southampton sit 16th, five points above the bottom three.

‘Just Post B00ty Snaps’ – Mzansi Advise Natasha Thahane After Controversial Statement On 1 Million Bursary

Remember the Natasha Thahane and R1 Million scholarship saga? If not, you can refresh your memory below.

Well, after all the backlash, she finally came out and issued an official statement, on social media, that basically recanted all she said. She now says she doesn’t even know Baleka Mbete personally as she earlier suggested, and a lot of other confusing statements.Natasha Thahane

But what she thought would finally put the drama to rest has ignited a whole new wave of fire for her. She has been catching Ls online since the statement, and some tweeps have now come out to explain to her where she keeps going wrong.Natasha Thahane1

Natasha’s first mistake was obviously going on the podcast in the first place. Everybody knows that you don’t talk to MacG, with the whole country listening, if you have something to hide. But once she accepted the invite, it could still have played out a lot better than it did.Natasha Thahane

Her second mistake, according to tweeps, was sharing the scholarship story. She really could have gone with the textbook “I was just lucky and blessed” response. But she decided to share the tea, and see what happened.

Finally, the last nail in her coffin is the “explanation” she gave in her official statement. First off, nobody believes it. She took too long to come out with it, and now it just sounds like she is trying to save face. Or like her political connections were displeased with the exposure and asked her to recant her statements.Natasha Thahane

But tweeps are saying she should not speak at all. She has been directed to Boity and Pearl Thusi, the queens of social media, to take a crash course in managing Public Relations after such a public disaster.

According to one tweep, all she had to do was go online and post some hot pictures of herself, preferably ones that flatter her body. Mzansi is always willing to forgive a hot woman, and she is pretty, so she already has that to her advantage. The explanation was completely unnecessary, and the more she speaks, the worse it gets.

While we may not know about how effective booty photos would be at earning public forgiveness, there is no doubt that Boity and Pearl have this social media thing on lock. There is no public scandal these two haven’t been able to get themselves out of, and even ended up being loved more afterwards.

We hope that Natasha takes the advice. Well, the part about saying no more… the rest is her prerogative. Because it seems like the public is committed to dragging her, and all she keeps doing is providing fodder for more hate. She may also need to sit down with her team because they fumbled the bag this time

We also hope she finds peace at this difficult time, and that her relationship with her connections (that she supposedly doesn’t have) are not ruined forever because of one hasty comment.

Is Forex Trading the Right Investment Strategy for You?

Forex trading has become increasingly popular, so you might have been hearing quite a bit about it. It involves the trading of global currencies, and you can potentially earn a profit or incur a loss from your trades, similar to how you would when buying and selling stocks. So, there are risks involved in addition to the potential for gains.

Like so many investment strategies that can be used to grow your money, there are benefits and drawbacks that come with forex trading, so doing your research and getting to know the pros and cons of this investment method is wise.

How can you tell if forex trading is really right for you? We have compiled some information below that can help you learn more about forex.

Reasons Why Forex Might Be Right for You

Are you the type of person who doesn’t mind doing a lot of research to learn as much as possible about a strategy and plan ahead to get the best results? Then forex might be right for you. That’s because, with forex, you need to understand how the market works before you dive in. Otherwise, you may increase the risk of losing your money rather than making money.

If you are under the impression that forex is something that you can simply dive right into without doing much work or research, think again. In the same way that you would want to fully prepare yourself for the challenges you might face when trading stocks, it is wise to do the same with forex by learning as much about it as you can before you execute your first trade.

Another reason why a lot of people like trading forex is because it is quite easy to get started once you are ready to do so. You can find the right broker that gives you what you need, as well as the right trading platform that can provide you with helpful tools to make smart trades. Then, you can monitor and make trades day and night from just about anywhere.

Forex Trading and Risk

One of the main drawbacks of trading forex is the fact that it comes with risk, and there are many factors that could influence how currencies behave. So, whether you invest a lot of money or a little bit of money, if you don’t make strategic trades or you miss opportunities to trade wisely, you might end up losing your money. And that’s the last thing you’d want when you’re investing your money to make it grow!

With forex, you can make moves on your own, but if you don’t really know what you are doing, you’ll likely increase your risk. Again, if you are not willing to do the right amount of research into the market and the ways that different currencies perform and behave short-term and long-term, or you just don’t have the time for it, this trading strategy might not be right for you.

Basically, if you aren’t comfortable making moves that come with risk, you might be better off taking a safer approach to growing your money, such as placing it in a certificate of deposit (CD) at a bank.

Is Forex Right for You?

Overall, forex trading can be a helpful tool and convenient method that you can try when you want to increase your wealth, but it is important to keep in mind that it isn’t right for everyone and it comes with risk.

WATCH: Muvhango actor Dingaan Khumalo(James) launches music career with amapiano song

Actor and TV presenter Dingaan Khumalo has ditched the “Mr Serious” hat he believes Mzansi has boxed him under.

He has played very serious roles on TV, from his character James Motsamai on Muvhango to presenting Speak Out and Mamazala, but Dingaan is ready for Mzansi to see his playful nature.

He is launching his music career in the amapiano genre and goes by the name DSK. He features Bhubesi on their single Gabadiya.

Speaking to TshisaLIVE, the Muvhango star said venturing into amapiano was a way for him to destress.

“I love amapiano. It’s an authentic South African sound, and the shows I’m doing are too hectic. They are very stressful. I needed some therapy in my life and amapiano is the perfect therapy for me.”

He said he had to toy around with the name for a while. It was a tough choice between DSK and his other names while growing up in Katlehong.

“ When I grew up people would call me Ding Dong. Others called me Podesta and Siyabonga is my grandfather’s name. He gave me the name Siyabonga and that’s when I changed from Mokebe to Khumalo. I couldn’t go with Ding Dong or Siyabonga so I decided let me cut everything else and go with my initials DSK. ”

DSK is enjoying that Mzansi never saw this coming, but he said he is not that new in the music industry. His musical background dates back to when he was growing up and his family were a part of a choir .

After he met Bhubesi the wheels were set in motion.

“I met him at Moja Love when I was starting to shoot Mamazala, Bhubesi was doing hip-hop but he’s always wanted to do something on the amapiano side. He said to me he knew I had an ear for music and I can feel good music so he said ‘lets collaborate’.

“I was like ‘dude what am I gonna do in amapiano. I either sing or present. I can’t sing amapiano’. He said you’ll do rhymes and verses. I went into the studio and everything was flowing and I thought let me go with it.”

DSK is enjoying the ride because he is more financially stable.

He admitted Mzansi was not expecting this, but he hopes they will support him.

“That’s the fun part of it. SA never expected me do something like this. We are still in studio, we are finishing the whole EP but for now we are pushing this single. Very soon we will be taking the other songs.”

“ I’m not under pressure. I’m loving the music and I hope SA is going to be loving the music and we will hold each other’s hands through this new journey, just like they did with my acting career.”
