The High Court has ordered that the assets of former ANC MP Vincent Smith be restrained.
The assets are valued at R46-million. Smith and Angelo Agrizzi are facing fraud and corruption charges relating to Bosasa gifts of R800,000.
Smith was chairing parliament’s portfolio committee on correctional services at the time. Bosasa was awarded contracts of more than a billion rand
