South Africa’s COVID-19 related deaths have increased by 46. Thirty-five of those deaths are from the Eastern Cape.
This brings the total number of COVID-19 related deaths in the country to 19,276.
The Department of Health has reported 1,770 new coronavirus cases, taking the total number of cases to 725, 452.
The number of recoveries now stands at 654,182 which translates to a 90-percent recovery rate.
