COVID-19: Gauteng consulting National Coronavirus Command Council on tougher restrictions

Gauteng Premier David Makhura says the province could go back to Alert Level 4 and 5 of the lockdown. Makhura says the province will ask the National Coronavirus Command Council to reinstate stricter restrictions.

But the premier is adamant that will not happen without inclusive consultation. We want to make ensure when we make this intervention that it takes into account all the various needs of our people,” Makhura said.
