Duties: Effective daily management of stock receipt and dispatch processes. Accuracy and the adherence to set processes is non-negotiable
Constant and daily management of various stores to ensure stock rotation by FIFO principles. Physical and active involvement is non-negotiable
Committed and very involved approach to ensure and oversee the daily accuracy of stock storage, stock picking, daily stock movement and store organization & neatness
Daily management of a team of personnel including storeman, forklift drivers, delivery truck drivers and assistants. Ensure that company guideline, policies, target dates and KPI’s are adhered to and met. Planning, execution and updating of stock accuracy bmo daily stock counting.

Requirements: Matric qualification with min. 5 years of store supervisory/management experience. A formal logistical or management post matric qualification would be a definite advantage. The successful candidate must be extremely well organized administratively, with acute attention needed iro administrative detail and accuracy. The administrative management of stock movements is an extremely important and integral part of this position. Excellent interpersonal skills and a proven ability to lead while instilling discipline Methods of management to ensure that systems, procedures and standards are set and maintained continuously.

The ability to function and excel in a very fast paced and high volume environment, while still maintaining accuracy
The ability to efficiently, accurately and timeously communicate (verbally and electronically) on and with various levels within a company structure
Organized neatness & cleanliness, accuracy and the pursuit of perfection must be personal attributes which must filter through and become evident in his/her daily routine and tasks

Must be medically fit and healthy
Must be fluent (verbal & writing) in both English and Afrikaans. A third African language would be advantageous
An apt ability to use his/her own initiative in solving daily challenges, while remaining within company guidelines & processes
Computer literacy is essential. A workable understanding of the SAGE X3 stock management program would be an advantage.
A workable and clear understanding of food handling and all related processes applicable in a food safety accredited company
His/her own reliable transport with a code 08 license (non-negotiable)
Forklift license
Code 10 licenses would be an advantage
Preferably resides in the Helderberg area
