Over 2,500 new infections have been reported in KwaZulu Natal.
Coming in second is the Western Cape, with 1,726 cases.
Limpopo has the lowest infections, recording only 141 cases.
Over 54,000 tests were conducted in the last 24 hours.
The positivity rate stands at 15-percent.
