BRENDA Mtambo has shared her weight loss journey.
The Afro-soul singer thanked a certain Mrs Mome for motivating and encouraging her to live a healthy lifestyle.
Brenda said she could now feel the difference and posted before and after photos, showing how she used to look before shedding the weight.
In the caption, she wrote: “Yesterday I came across this pic of myself and realised how far I have come with my weight loss journey. There are many factors that contributed to me gaining so much weight but I am glad I am here. Many life decisions I had to make but @mrsmome.m was my best motivator in terms of not only focusing on losing weight but living a healthier lifestyle from the inside out, which made me take her products while I was going to gym.
“I keep telling my friends I feel like I am actually breathing easy now. The @momewellnessliving has helped me a lot over the year and obviously, gym and eating right.”
“Starting gym again this morning, pray for me. I am far from reaching my goal but thank God I am not where I used to be. Take care of your mental health. Much love.”
Brenda’s weight improvement has been witnessed by her colleagues in the entertainment industry as Unathi Nkayi commented: “I’ve told you how proud I am of you ke wena,” to which she responded: “Pushing me to not give up, thank you.”
Her motivator Mrs Mome congratulated her and said: “Proud of you, mami. We’ll reach the goal.”
Jennifer Bala said it was even harder to lose any weight in a pandemic.
“So you’ve done incredibly well,” said Jennifer.
