Liquor traders are desperate. They say a total ban on alcohol is not the solution to the country’s third wave, adding it could be a death knell for businesses.
The National Liquor Traders association’s held a training programme for tavern owners to help them comply with COVID-19 regulations.
Gauteng’s government says a sales ban is not on the table yet.
Tavern owners have committed to complying with regulations to avoid another hard lockdown.
