At least 13,575 new COVID-19 were recorded in South Africa in the last 24 hours.
Up to 62 percent of the latest cases were detected in Gauteng, followed by the Western Cape with 11 percent.
SA’s death toll is at 58,590 after 149 more people succumbed to COVID-19 related illnesses.
There are currently over 110,000 active cases in the country, with a recovery rate of 90.6 percent.
